I always lace my boots a little on the tight side and after about 6 months one of the laces tore, but it was easy to fix. I would highly recomend these boots to any working person.

I bought these for my son's birthday and this is the second time I have purchased this particular boot. He wears them every day and they have lasted well. They have good arch support (he is flat footed) and are comfortable. He has very muscular ankles/legs which are hard to fit but these boots fit well for someone with that kind of build and I will continue to buy this particular boot because the fit is excellent and he's hasn't had to return either pair.

I was happy to find a nice sturdy shoe that did not have laces or velcro. I think the shoes will hold up until he outgrows them.
