I really wanted to give this pair of boots 5 stars. It's a great fit, requiring little break-in.

The hiker is very comfortable and doesn't look big and bulky like many hiking boots. Only one very minor dislike and that is the tongue is quite thick at the top, making it harder to tie tightly.

The top part of the tongue is bigger than it needs to be. It's hard to tie laces and keep them tied. I always have trouble getting a boot wide enough. These boots are definitely wide, more than a normal 4E. Though I have plenty of room, these boots make my size 13 boot look small. The boots are soft and keep my feet dry and warm in the snow.
